I am the Walrus

I performed 'I am the Walrus' by The Beatles on stage a few weeks ago. It was taped and I made a compilation. Here is is:



'I am the Walrus' is a nonsense song, it's lyrics don't make sense whatsoever, so don't even try to understand them ;)
I'm dessed up as a fancy chicken, the piano player is wearing a giant blue top hat, the special effects guy is wearing a blue wig and clogs, the drummer is has a moustache and odd clothing and the singer is the walrus.

"Blumen"

On Sunday we went to Norwood and picked up our new puppy! Camille had worked hard to narrow down to three the list of possible names:
Flower, Butterfly or Happiness.

After several hours of visiting and trying to choose, one puppy ended up choosing David. We decided to call him "Blumen" which means flowers.

The girls are enamored of him. And Dave is enamored by him.

Katja in Buenos Aires

rainy days

We've been drenched ! For 3 wks its been raining on & off--mostly ON !
I've doubled the "Arbor" in the backyard, Sure wish you were here to help.
It's flagstone & makes it possible to have more students (adults) working in the "lower garden".
There's a good possibility I'll be in CO. in early--mid June.I'd like to visit Joel's family & David's ...........maybe see Wyley rafting in Salida.
Can any of you join me ? WE could camp or Hot Spring it.
We could sight see & travel together,visiting family..........

HI DEAR ONES<
I hope this goes thru....I've been trying for days !
Our time with Nelson was really beautiful.Perfect weather for swimming.
WE helped him set up an office in a sweet village at the upper tip of the big island,only a mile or so from where he and Susan live. He has been asked to write a curiculum for 2 different schools (I think elementary-middle )....so you might have some ideas, esp. Joel !
One highlite was seeing/hearing Nels and Susan performing together on New year's eve,and then singing with them myself !

Christmas concert & Happy new year from Katja

Hi everyone!

I wish you all a very happy new year. I will be closer to you than usually starting the 20th, when I leave for Buenos Aires with Bastiaan. After that we will travel up to Quito, Equador in 6 months. I'll keep you posted!
